Military Veterans

We are in need of complete uniforms and service equipment for our exhibits.  All eras are welcome.  One of our experts can help you date the items and provide information on photos that aren't labeled.

Sports Memorabilia

Sports were a common thread among the Black community.  Baseball, Basketball or football uniforms, photos, and equipment are welcome.  We will also have signed memorabilia on display from several local superstars!

Educators, Schools & Principals

Black education was provided with limited options.  We need your help to locate photos, books and materials, and other artifacts from any schools in the area.  Bring items to have them examined by our historians.

Photography Policies

Photography in Museum Exhibits

  • Non-flash photography for personal or educational use is permitted in all exhibit areas of the Black History Museum of WC. Certain traveling exhibitions and exhibit areas may have photographic restrictions. These exceptions will be posted in those areas.

  • Use of tripods and monopods are not allowed in the exhibition area.

  • Photography by the news media is always allowed, but should be scheduled through the media relations office at erinwolford@me.com 

  • Photographs of the museum for commercial use should be scheduled through the media relations office at erinwolford@me.com There may be a charge for such usage.


Photographic Policies on Using Images from the Museum's Collection

The Black History Museum of WC collects, preserves, organizes, and disseminates images documenting, its collection, exhibitions, events, the rich history of Warren County and its people. Many of these images are available to be licensed for educational, editorial, and commercial usage.
